About
My professional background begins with my freshman internship where I learned the basics of IT administration and cybersecurity principles. From there, I moved into a role where I worked as part of a 3-person team preparing a 300+ employee company for GDPR/DPF compliance. The next year I expanded on these further working in Cboe Global Markets' cybersecurity governance team. Their highly-regulated environment afforded me the opportunity to see how a cornerstone financial exchange handles situations where policy clashes with needs.
I'm particularly interested in crypto/DeFi governance, technology risk frameworks in financial services, and the regulatory/political challenges and opportunities that DeFi faces. I believe that if executed correctly, policy will open doors to broader market acceptance.
Now
I graduated this spring while also completing an internship in the House of Representatives during my spring semester. I am taking a couple of weeks following graduation to visit family but am concurrently working to find the position where I will provide the most value.
